Cathy Thompson Haymons, 53, of Helena, died on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Dodge County Hospital, Eastman.

Cathy was the daughter of the late Charles Drew Thompson.

She was a graduate of Telfair County High School and was the owner of Cuttin-Up Salon in McRae.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 5, 2018 in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home and interment will follow in the Helena City Cemetery.

The Rev. Jimbo Dominey will officiate.

Survivors include her children, Meredith (Tucker) Dixon of Glenwood, Beth (Alan) Bethea of Hiram and Bradley Haymons of Pooler; grandchildren, Drew Dixon, Ava Cate Dixon, Carter Dixon all of Glenwood; sister, Jennifer Green of McRae; friend, Russ Ruffin of Eastman; mother, Emmie (Milton) Herring of Albany; father of her children, Steve Haymons.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 4th at the funeral home.
