Carol Dianne Walker Martin, 67, of Douglas passed away of Thursday, July 4, 2013 at the Jeff Davis Hospital. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 6 at the Milan Baptist Church with interment in the Milan City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 5 at Lowe's Funeral Home in Helena.

The Rev. Robert Wigley will officiate.

Ms. Martin was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Runette Lawson Walker; a son, Preston Kent Martin and was the widow of Ernest Brent Martin.

She had retired as an LPN and was a homemaker.

Survivors include two children, Marla (Bryan) Miller of Douglas and Kevin Martin of Douglas; seven grandchildren; and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105-1942 or to The Gideons, P.O. Box 338, McRae, Georgia 31055.
