Candace Alicia Blankenship

Candace Alicia Blankenship, 48 of McRae, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at the Augusta University Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Grimes Neal and 2 brothers, James Neal and Kenneth Neal.

Mrs. Blankenship was a Home Health Nurse.

Mrs. Blankenship is survived by her husband, Eddie Blankenship of McRae; children, Ian (Samantha) Blankenship of Savannah, Cameo Blankenship of Davidson, NC, Tre' Blankenship of Statesboro, Kimberly (Toby) Sorrels of Bryson City, NC, Cristina (Zack) Blissett of Statesboro, Jarid (Ashley) Blankenship of Savannah and Victoria (Joseph) Palmar of Lyons; 8 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Marcus Neal of West Palm Beach, FL., Emmanuel (T'Keyah) Grimes of Augusta and Robert Neal of Alma; 2 sisters, Celeste Neal and Charisse Neal, both of Warner Robins; also, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 1 P.M. – 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 2 P.M. also in the Chapel. Lay Minister Norwood Davidson and Rev. Alton Stokes will officiate.
