Buck Cravey

Buck Cravey, 82 of Helena passed away, Monday, January 16, 2023 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents, Reno Wilson and Ada Lea Welch Cravey.

Mr. Cravey was a retired Lineman of 49 years with Mediacom.

Mr. Cravey is survived by his wife, Doris Cravey of Helena; children, Debra (Steve) Dowdy of Helena, Gale (Joe) Thomas of Helena and Richard Cravey Jr. of McRae; grandchildren, Deanna (Justin) Pearce of McRae, Hannah (Brett) Grenade of Chauncey, Jody (Annalora Jones) Thomas of Helena, Cohen Cravey of McRae and Sadey Cravey of McRae; great-grandchildren, Leila Grenade, Audrey Pearce and Brody Grenade; 2 sisters, Willene Dykes of Dublin and Martha (Gerald) Wells of McRae; also several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 6 P.M. – 8 P.M. in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Helena City Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Joines, Rev. Sonny Harrell, Mark Joiner and Cadle McEachin will officiate.
