Bruce Stuart Webster, M.D. of Griffin, formerly of McRae, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 in Griffin.

Webster, 86, was the son of the late Arthur and May McAllister Webster and the widower of Anne Yopp Webster.

He received a BS Degree from the University of Florida, where he had a scholarship in football; he received his Medical Degree from Vanderbilt. He was an Army Veteran during World War II and a Medical Doctor in Emergency Medicine.

Survivors include sons, Robert (Elizabeth) Webster of Griffin, William Webster of McRae, Stephen (Angie) Webster of Eliot, Maine; daughter, Katherine (John) Jolley of Miami, Florida; grandchildren, Katie and Robin Webster of Sarasota, Florida, Ameila (Brannon) Gillis of Cumming, Delia (Joseph) Collins of Savannah and Vivian Webster of Eliot, Maine; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Lowe's Funeral Home in Helena. The funeral services will be private.

The Lay Minister Norwood Davidson will officiate.
