Bishop Hugh Millard Crowe

Bishop Hugh Millard Crowe, 85 of Helena, Georgia went to his heavenly home on Monday, November 13, 2023 at his residence surrounded by family.

Hugh was born May 23,1938 in Winder Georgia to the late Clarence Oscar Crowe and Lucy Kate Page Crowe. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Sue Crowe, 2 sisters, Carolyn Roberts and Nancy Anglin and 2 brothers, Donald Crowe and Jim Crowe. He served as Pastor of Helena Apostolic Church of The Lord Jesus Christ for 35 years and was currently serving as Bishop.

He is survived by his wife Sister Jerrie Crowe of Helena, Georgia; 3 Children-Danny (Robin)Crowe of Walnut Grove, Georgia, Connie (Eric)Williams of Helena, Georgia and David (Ana)Crowe of Augusta, Georgia. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 16, 2023 in the chapel of Lowes Funeral Home with interment in Telfair Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service.
