Services for Billy Joseph " Bill" Hayes will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home with interment in Sweet Home Church Cemetery.

The Rev. Danny Joiner and the Rev. Randy Conley will officiate.

Mr. Hayes, age 45, passed away February 16, 2013 in the Medical Center of Central Georgia. He was the son of the late Jimmy and Emogene Burnam Hayes and was married to Karen Tribble Hayes. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Teal Hayes and Bob Hayes and a nephew, Hank Williams.

He was a member of the McRae Church of God and worked at Husqvarna Outdoor Products in McRae.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Hayes of McRae; five children, Bradley Hayes of Rhine, B.J. Hayes of Rhine, Courtney Hayes of Rhine, Blake Warren (Hunter) of Clarksville, Tennessee and Alyssa Colson of McRae; granddaughter, Natalie Hayes of Rhine; two sisters, Terri Hayes of Eastman and Gloria Singletary of Lyons; nieces and nephews, Brian Hayes, Brodie Patterson, Travis Singletary, April Moore; great nieces and nephews, Brogen Hayes, Amber Lynn Moore and Mylee Moore.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 18 at the funeral home.
