Bernice Sarah Grimes

Bernice Sarah Grimes, 84, of Helena died on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021 at her residence.

Bernice was of Christian Faith and attended Alamo Church of God. She was Co-owner of Grimes Farms.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard J. Grimes; a daughter, Lynn Strom; grandson, Will Grimes and her parents, Bertha Mae Turner Ryals and Eschol Lee Ryals.

The viewing will be from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 28th, 2021 at Lowe's Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 29th, 2021 in the Grimes Family Cemetery. The Rev. Ronnie Moore will officiate. The family encourages that masks be worn and social distancing be practiced during the funeral services.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Jimmy (Connie) Grimes of Helena, Wayne Grimes; 3 grandchildren, Mandi Grimes (Brock) Long of Hickory, North Carolina, Jamey (Alicia) Grimes of Helena, Joni Grimes of Helena; 4 great-grandchildren, Lindsey Grimes, Jaci Hill, Jonah Long, Issac Long; 1 brother, Rev. Eschol (Dorris) Ryals of Helena; 1 sister, Sue Evans of Alma, Georgia.
