Allen Wesley Yawn, 80, of McRae, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Fairview Park Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents, Spurgeon Wesley and Mary Lee Yawn; Brother-H.D. (Buck) Yawn and Sisters-Margaret Whatley and Sylvia Moon.

Mr. Yawn was a farmer and was a member of Scotland Baptist Church.

Mr. Yawn is survived by his wife-Clara Lowe Yawn of McRae; Children-Linda (Rusty) White of McRae and Christy (Bill) Thornton of Social Circle; grandchildren-Haley White, Paige White, Cameron Thornton and Grant Thornton; Sisters- Norma Ray and Annette Hopkins of McRae. A host of Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held from 6 P.M.-8 P.M. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Lowe's Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 19, 2023. Rev. Murray Ward and Rev. Chuck Morgan will officiate. Burial will take place at Trinity Cemetery.
